5/1/2023 0 Comments Swamp song tool bass tab![]() Listening to many different styles of music from different eras is inspiring. I also listen to a lot of different music from different eras too, from Classical to Rock to Funk and R&B to Rap, from Trap to Hip-Hop to Blues to Electronic to Jazz. I may be standing in line at the airport and a riff pops in my head or a lyric comes to me and I jot it down or record it on my phone. ![]() I usually record a voice note on my phone and create a song out of the voice note later when that happens. I may just hear something in my head when I wake up. Where do you find the inspiration for new music?įor me, inspiration comes from many different places. Needless to say, my solo career came to a halt once I devoted my time and energy to the Beyonce project. I played many shows locally in Atlanta and the South East and had just started working on my second solo project when I started touring with Beyonce. That’s when I started the slogan, I Only Rock Hip Hop®. I released my first album, Ain’t No Other Way on CD Baby while touring with Vic. I started teaching myself music production software and played with a bunch of different keyboards and drum machines and effects processors and started creating a really unique sound that came to be known as “Ghetto Rock”. I also started teaching myself to use the Akai MPC drum machine to make beats and produce music. I had left a rap group I co-founded in high school called DATBU and had begun writing and performing songs on my own, utilizing the bass more as a songwriting tool while I was learning more and more about the instrument. When I met Victor I had already begun working on my solo career. When did you start your career as a solo artist? The First Family are huge Beyonce fans and I was head over heels to be able to stand there next to the biggest star in the world and play for the leader of the free world and his family. President Obama had just taken office and the excitement we all had of not only visiting and performing at The White House, but visiting and playing for the first African-American President and his family was beyond words. We were given the opportunity to play a State Dinner at the White House for the President of Mexico and his wife. The Beyonce gig was for sure a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am so lucky and blessed to have been one of the female musicians she introduced to the world stage. Up to that point I had played a few gigs for other artists, but mainly I had been playing my own gigs with my own bands and building my own brand as an artist. ![]() The Beyonce gig was where I learned how to be a “bass player” in a band and realized what the role of the bass player truly was. I auditioned for the Beyonce gig like thousands of other women around the world and like 9 of them, were chosen to tour and perform with the pop star on world tours, TV shows, guest appearances, private parties and the like. Touring and playing for Beyoncé? White House? That was my first tour ever, and my life and career as a bass player really took off from there. Thing is, I didn’t expect anything from him and what an incredible experience it was. After the camp Vic asked if I would like to tour with him. I rapped and played bass as my introduction. On the first night of camp we’re asked to introduce ourselves by playing bass. I was accepted and went to Vic’s very first Bass/Nature Camp years ago. I heard about Victor’s Bass Camp from a friend and mailed in my application. I started gigging locally and wanted to learn more about the bass and playing bass. After I left Berkeley and moved home to Atlanta.

You can record into the grid slots, too, while other clips play back. Here, audio regions and note data are represented in a big grid full of self–contained clips that can be triggered rhythmically and in sync with other material. This is the aspect that everyone compares to Ableton Live, and in case the concept is unfamiliar, it revolves around a part of the user interface called the Clip Launcher. Where it’s not like every other DAW is in its use of a clip–based sequencer alongside a more conventional linear timeline. Beneath, the bundled Polysynth instrument isn’t blessed with a particularly sexy graphic interface, but is surprisingly potent. The Mix view with its integrated clip launcher. It also has user–tweakable audio time–stretching, transposition and transient detection built in at a fundamental level, so you can record audio at one tempo and subsequently play back at another, and easily conform loops to work better in mismatching tempos and keys, among other things. ![]() It’s got a dark–hued, single–window graphical interface with configurable inspector and browser panels, and uses drag–and–drop principles much more than menus and dialogue boxes - all bang on–trend. It hosts its own bundled effects and instruments (of which there are 62, if you take into account various MIDI and modulation tools) as well as VST plug–ins. Meanwhile, if you want a potted summary right now, here it is.įundamentally, Bitwig Studio is a DAW like many others: it has audio and instrument tracks, a sophisticated signal-routing environment, a mixer and a transport. And yes, the name is memorably quirky! However, as I hope will become clear over the course of this review, Bitwig Studio very much stands on its own merits, and is not overtly copying anything or anyone. Some aspects do bear comparison with Live. On a superficial inspection, it might appear to be some sort of Ableton Live wannabe with a slightly comical name and yes, some of the people behind Bitwig Studio are indeed former Ableton employees. ![]() These components and others can be split off to suit multi–monitor systems.īitwig Studio might be the newest kid on the DAW block - but it’s growing fast!īitwig Studio is a cross–platform DAW that has been around for a couple of years now on Windows, Mac OS and Linux. ![]() The Bitwig Studio interface in all its glory, with central Arrange view surrounded by transport, inspector, device panel and browser. 5/1/2023 0 Comments Insync probiotic review![]() Brought to you by K¹², the leader in online education for grades K through 12, this innovative program is based on research and industry standards for early learning. These curiosities are unable to spawn on Tier 2 and Tier 3 planets, making them only able to spawn on Tier 1 planets. Tier 1 Strategic Curiosities are visible from the start of the game. The Tier 1 deposits found in curiosities should be equal to the number of Tier 3 deposits, but anywhere from a third to a half of all Tier 1 resources will start already discovered. These resources tend to spawn infrequently, but in high abundance. Tier 1 strategics require stage one Economy and Trade technologies to exploit, and tend to spawn infrequently, but in high quantities. The price will rise and fall based on recent supply and demand from players using the Marketplace. Strategic resources can also be purchased with Dust (or Influence for United Empire players) from the Marketplace, which is unlocked once G-Goods Exchange is researched in Stage 2 of the Economy and Trade technology tree. The price that an AI player will demand for a resource depends on how much of that resource the faction is using, their current production of the resource, and your relationship with them. Since it is a diplomatic action, it costs Influence to do so. Strategic resources can also be traded between factions in the Diplomacy Screen, as long as they are not at war. These are almost always "additive" values, like +1, or +2, and it's reasonably practical (if we handwave all the different combinations of faction traits and such) to boost them by something like +5 in most games. ![]() Several system improvements, empire improvements, and hero skills can magnify the number of resources exploited from a deposit, per turn. Exploitation is the most reliable method to acquire strategic resources, and is lucrative for large empires. Once the planet is colonized and the exploitation tech for the resource has been researched, the planet will produce a certain amount of that resource each turn dependent on the size of the deposit. When searching subterranean curiosities on planets, there is a slightly reduced chance of discovering a deposit on the planet. However, strategic resources can also be looted in random Quests and from completing some Deeds. Exploring subterranean curiosities has a chance to reward the player with a small amount of a resource as Loot. Once the player's Curiosity Expedition Power is high enough, they can explore Curiosities using probes on exploration ships, or by colonizing the system and using industry to create an expedition. In order to discover them, players must first raise their curiosity detection level by unlocking relevant techs in the Science and Exploration technology tree. Planets in Endless Space 2 have a high chance of containing one or more strategic resources. Strategic resources in Endless Space 2 can be discovered on planets, traded for in the diplomacy screen with another empire, or purchased for Dust on the Marketplace, or even awarded upon completing quests. 5/1/2023 0 Comments Startrail photoshop action![]() The Content-Aware Fill window in Adobe Photoshop.
